Part 1

 Pictured is Dr. Albert Schweitzer working with African American Laborers. This photo is actually two negatives combined. The silhouetted saw and human hand was added to the photo.  I think this alteration was very successful because of the lighting. Since it is so dark, you can not tell that the image was altered. 

Pictured is Kim Jong-il visiting with a North Korean army unit. Because of a line that runs knee-height that stops on either side of Kim Jong-il, There is reason to believe that he was digitally inserted into the image. I think this alteration could be successful from the point of view of a person that does not pay attention to detail. However, experts you study this were quick to point out its altercation.
